Paral is a multifunctional hospitality space that fluidly shifts between a daytime café, an evening bar, and an occasional art gallery. The client, a curator, envisioned a social venue that blends art, leisure, and community, offering a welcoming environment for both casual encounters and curated cultural experiences.
Key Features
Core Cylinder :
A central cylindrical wine display and curved bar counter define the spatial flow.
Dual Shutter Doors:
Natural daylight fills the café during the day. At night, the space transforms into an integrated bar area with booth seating, private rooms, and an interactive central bar.
At times, the exhibition zone comes to life, hosting curated art shows. The three functional zones are designed to flexibly overlap, allowing for diverse spatial configurations.
- Initial meeting with client
- Concept design: I proposed a circular circulation and zoning strategy to accommodate multifunctional character, allowing seamless transitions across different time periods and activities.
- CD-SD (documentation, drawings, 3D modelling, visualisation renders)
